Occupational Therapist Job – Rexburg, ID: Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients across age groups
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for developmental delays, injury recovery, chronic conditions, and functional impairments
- Document patient progress using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Educate caregivers, teachers, and family members on treatment strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and other therapists
- Provide services in multiple settings, including clinics, schools, hospitals, and home environments
Qualifications of a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (required)
- Successfully passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam or eligible to sit for exam
- Licensed (or license-eligible) Occupational Therapist in Idaho
- Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and flexibility
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Compensation
- Starting salary for new graduates begins at $70,000/year (DOE)
- Additional compensation based on experience, certifications, and schedule
