Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job – Rigby, ID: Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with developmental delays, injuries, or functional impairments
- Monitor patient progress toward short-term and long-term goals
- Document treatment sessions accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Educate caregivers, family members, and support staff on patient care techniques
- Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary team members
Qualifications for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Completion of required fieldwork
- Successfully passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam or eligible to sit for exam
- Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapy Assistant in Idaho
- Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and adaptability

Compensation for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Starting salary for new graduates begins at $50,000/year (DOE)
- Additional compensation based on experience, certifications, and schedule
