Did you know that Rehab Specialists of Idaho employs two incredible athletic trainers, both with/pursuing their Master of Science degree in Athletic Training? Both athletic trainers spend their time supporting high-school coaching staff at assigned high schools from all sports and helping athletes at games and practices throughout the week.

Through a partnership with the Madison Memorial Sports Medicine Team at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, the trainers work with both Madison High School and Sugar Salem High School keeping athletes safe.

“Our job is to assess, diagnose, and treat sports related injuries for all of the high school athletes as needed,” explained Athletic Trainer Brandon Archibald, the trainer at Madison High School. Athletic Trainer Alec Weaver assists athletes at Sugar Salem High School.

The two trainers specialize in concussions, preventative medicine, muscle energy techniques, kinesiology taping, positional release therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques.
